Research a team’s scoring record alongside its opponent’s conceding record. Explore over 0.5, 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5 team goals, plus failed to score, for full time or either half.
Full-time goals scored in each team’s latest games at both venues. Open the dashboard to compare opponent conceding, goal lines and first- or second-half records.
Use the figures as a starting point, then explore the games and scoring patterns behind them.
How do team goals differ from match goals?
Team goals counts only the selected team’s goals. In a 2–1 win, that team goes over 1.5 team goals, while the match goes over 2.5 total goals. Failed to score means the selected team finishes the chosen period with zero goals.
How are first-half and second-half goals calculated?
First-half stats use the half-time score; second-half stats use the goals added after half-time. If a team leads 1–0 at the break and wins 3–1, it scored one first-half goal and two second-half goals. Matches without reliable half-time scores are excluded from half-specific percentages.
Why compare scoring with the opponent’s conceding record?
For over 1.5 team goals, FootyTotals checks how often the selected team scored at least twice and how often its opponent conceded at least twice. A 2–0 win meets the scoring condition; an opponent’s 1–2 loss meets the conceding condition. These two histories provide context for your research.
